DescriptionPosition at LeoVegas GroupABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Backend team of Engineers and QA specialists within the Gaming Domain. Join us if you thrive in a dynamic environment, surrounded by passionate individuals, and are eager to contribute to a modern company culture.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:As our Engineering Manager you will:● Leading and managing a team of 10 people, ensuring timely deliveries and alignment with company goals and OKRs.● Overseeing development and maintenance of the Gaming domain in our Player Account Management-system, focusing on integrations, product development, and regulatory compliance.● Collaborating with the Product Manager and Domain Architect to drive major architectural changes and implement new features in the Platform for scalability, performance, and modernization.● Promoting a culture of innovation, transparency, and trust within the team, fostering an environment conducive to high performance and growth.OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:ESSENTIAL SKILLS● Solid engineering background, spending at least 5+ years working as an engineer.● Strong people management and leadership skills with at least 2+ years of managing a team.● Experience in leading and developing people and teams through goals, inspiration, transparency and trust.● Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring agile software development teams.● Ability to lead and inspire others in a high pace, high velocity and changing environment.● Solid understanding of scalable, highly concurrent and fault tolerant systems.● A passionate leader with experience of running workshops, facilitating retrospectives and experience from supporting tools such as JIRA.NICE TO HAVES● Previous experience in the iGaming industry.● Familiarity with our current tech stack including Java/Kotlin.WHO ARE WE?
