OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for space missions in, for example, communication, earth observation and space research for institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Procurement to lead our procurement department and drive our procurement strategy.We are expanding our procurement department as we grow as a company and need to expand with the role of Head of Procurement. Here you will be involved in developing new and existing processes and be a key person within procurement to take us to the next level in this area.Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the procurement department, ensuring effective distribution of tasks and responsibilities within the team.
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with the company's objectives, focusing on cost reduction, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
Oversee the procurement of critical components, conduct market analysis, and develop global sourcing strategies.
Establish and enforce procurement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with project, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Business Development and Project Office teams to improve procurement processes and support project needs.
Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Provide strategic direction and support for the procurement team, ensuring continuous improvement and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech industry.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
