It aims at giving the best environment for all players to enjoy their games and connect with each other on any device.We're looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join us at Ubisoft Connect. Reporting to the technical operations lead, you would assist in the process of making PC games ready for digital distribution around the globe as well as providing support for our cross-platform services.You will be one of the central figures in our multinational technical operations team with team members located on several other studios around Europe and North America. You will work closely with teams located around the globe including the Online Services development teams, Game development teams as well as other stakeholders within the company.Within the role there will be room for other developing tasks depending on your interests.We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.What you'll doMaking games ready for digital distribution around the worldInvestigating and solving related technical issuesSupporting different game development teamsContributing to the product’s evolution by suggesting improvementsCommunicating with clients to find out their needs and suggest solutionsConduct product demonstrationsExplore new product possibilitiesSet out quality levels for product releases in collaboration with the technical operations leadHelp invent new processes as well as improving existing oneDocument internal processes and assist in improving documentation of other teamsQualificationsWhat you'll bringSince a key part of the role revolves around working in a team, strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills are requirements. You need to possess a strong willingness to learn, improve and become autonomous. Having a result-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills are also quite important. Since it's common to work on several tasks in parallel, being able to handle rapid context switching is very useful.Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with and the following skills and experience:Proficiency in the Windows environmentProficiency in English, orally and writtenPlus:Experience with digital distribution platforms (such as Ubisoft Connect, Steam, Epic Games etc)Former professional experience from the gaming industryAdditional InformationUbisoft’s 19,000 team members, working across more than 30 countries around the world, are bound by a common mission to enrich players’ lives with original and memorable gaming experiences.
