- Lead negotiations and reviews of supplier contracts within your area of responsibility, securing favorable terms for pricing, lead times, quality, and service across a range of services and commodities.
- Support the identification and onboarding of suppliers into the CBRE Preferred Supplier Programme, aligning with divisional targets to enhance supplier performance both locally and across the wider CBRE network.
- Drive contract compliance and maintain awareness of client contract renewal timelines in collaboration with the commercial team.
- Assist sourcing teams, account managers, and internal stakeholders in resolving issues related to contracted suppliers.
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle using defined systems: raise POs, approve invoices, and ensure timely closure of orders.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including PO creation, invoice payments, and client billing, in line with contractual and company standards.
- Maintain financial data integrity, including regular updates of S1/O1, consumables checks, and monitoring of WIP (Work in Progress), OPOs (Open Purchase Orders), and outstanding debt within agreed parameters.
- Identify and support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives to meet or exceed customer and GWS financial targets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
- Actively participate in weekly finance meetings with the Contract Manager and subcontractors to review financial performance and ensure operational alignment.
- Collaborate with the Contract Manager to track and follow up on budget targets.
- Provide professional support to technical and infrastructure teams, ensuring alignment with procurement and contract strategies.
- Conduct internal and external meetings with professionalism, demonstrating persuasive communication, sound judgment, and diplomacy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood, anticipated, and effectively addressed-especially in a matrixed environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Support the creation and data collection for various reports, including monthly reports, and contract reviews.
- Attend and contribute to key meetings, including expected billing reviews, customer updates, and bi-weekly service progress meetings.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with SLA/KPI scorecard metrics.
- Prepare materials and provide support for meetings such as monthly reports and contract reviews.
- Organize team-related activities, including events and social media engagement, to foster collaboration and team spirit.
- Present financial updates during contract review meetings as required.
- Relevant education / qualification with focus on finance and administration
- Experience of working in a fast paced, operational service environment
- Organised but flexible attitude with the openness to break new grounds to challenge inefficiencies
- Business fluency in both English and local language
- Capable of working in a matrix environment
- Results/ task orientated, with attention to detail and accuracy
