Want to join the ride?Do you want to be part of the green transition to fossil-free energy?Wärtsilä Gas Solutions in Kalmar Sweden, develops and manufactures plants that purify biogas to replace fossil energy in all applications where (fossil) natural gas is used today, both in gas and liquid form (LNG). We also work with development projects in carbon dioxide capture (CCS) and synthetic gas (P2X). Currently the business unit in Kalmar has 46 employees and good market prospects mean we need to grow. We are a small company within the larger Gas Solutions business area with headquarters in Asker, Norway, which in turn is part of the Wärtsilä corporation with headquarters in Finland.We now need to further strengthen our team in Kalmar with a new Production ManagerWhat will you be doing?As a Production Manager, you will focus on these activities:Ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Manager for the personnel in the workshop, currently one white collar and five blue collarsPlanning the correct manpower level with internal and external resources to meet cost and delivery time, including recruitment
Facilitate training of employees and contractors
Feeding the projects with data and documents from manufacturing
Manage the MRP-system (SAP) for production
Handle invoices related to the manufacturing operation
Input to cost calculations to sales
Do time plans and cost follow up for projects
Plans for X-ray and leak test
Participate in project meetings
Drive continuous improvement
Building and equipmentRequirements:
Genuine interest in manufacturing of technically advanced low volume products
Good communication skills and experience in leading others
Good planning capabilities
Teamwork within the manufacturing group as well as upstream and downstream the value chain
Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English
Experience in IT tools such as MS Office and SAP
Safety mindset
General interest in biogas is a benefitAccountabilities:

Approve documents related to the manufacturing process
