Arla Foods Sweden is looking for a collaborative and visionary Senior Site Director to lead five cheese production sites in Falbygden, Falkenberg, Kalmar, Kvibille, and Östersund. Together, these sites produce around 50,000 tonnes of cheese annually, with a dedicated and diverse team of 300 people.The primary location for this position is our head office in Solna, with the possibility of being based at one of the sites you are responsible for.As a key member of our senior supply chain leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our cheese operations, nurture talent, and champion innovation and sustainability.How You'll Make a Difference
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies and business plans in line with Arla's vision. Drive operational excellence and build a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Inclusive People Leadership: Foster a supportive, engaging, and respectful work environment where everyone can thrive and feel valued. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, diverse team and maintain strong partnerships with employees, unions, and stakeholders.
  • Performance & Impact: Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, product quality, and sustainability. Deliver on financial and operational targets, and maintain transparent performance management systems.
  • Collaboration: Build strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues in commercial and supply chain functions, both locally and centrally.
  • Innovation & Development: Lead change, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives. Promote a culture of learning, growth, and diversity, supporting succession planning and talent development.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee key investment projects to drive business growth and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
  • University degree in food science, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 15+ years' experience in production within process industries (dairy or food production is an advantage).
  • At least 5 years' senior leadership experience managing multi-site operations.
  • Proven expertise in continuous improvement and change management (Six Sigma, LEAN, or similar).
  • Fluent in Swedish (or another Scandinavian language) and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to our sites will be necessary in this position.
