We are seeking a skilled and experienced network engineer to join our global network team at Sweco IT. In this role you design, implement and maintain our organization network infrastructure. You will be closely collaborating with the IT-departments different teams and will contribute to the development of robust and secure network solutions. Part of your role will be to maintain and watch over the network infrastructure in our datacentres and offices.
This is a hybrid role in a global team but may also involve being on-site in our datacentres or offices when needed. Travel within Europe may be necessary for cross border collaborations and project implementations.If you are passionate about network infrastructure and ready to take on new challenges, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
- Switch and wireless platform management
- Network Automation
- Mastery of Aruba Clearpass and Aruba Networking technologies
- Life Cycle Management for network components
- Ensure timely support, license, and contract renewals
- Develop and maintain life cycle planning
- Design and architecture robust network solutions
- Plan and implement improvements for the switch and wireless platform
- Continually evaluate IT-security risks for the network infrastructure platforms
- Stay informed on trends and developments from vendors, partners, and suppliers
- A couple of years of relevant work experience
- Experience of installing hardware and cables
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing and switching
- Scripting with Python and ansible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good at creating structure and processes
- English verbal and written communication skills
