Are you ready to join us in engineering a safer world and play a vital part in our growing success?Step into the roleAs a Technical Project Manager at MilDef, you will lead diverse teams and manage multiple development projects, from internal innovations to customer-focused solutions. Your leadership will be essential in driving projects forward, ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within our engineering department, encouraging innovation and efficient development, making sure that every step of the project making sure that every step of the project supports the overall business goals. Systematically manage assigned development projects according to MilDef’s project process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
Lead and contribute in technical project teams, ensuring the right resources, technical understanding, and competencies are in place, and escalate issues when necessary.
Monitor project and product costs, ensuring financial control and adherence to budgets.
Report project status at MilDef’s steering meetings, maintaining transparency and providing regular progress updates.
Actively contribute to improving and refining MilDef’s project development processes, combining systematic approaches with deep technical insight.
Encourage the adoption of new technologies, promoting innovative, process-driven, and technically sound solutions within the team.
Be closely involved in the project work, actively contributing expertise and technical skills. This hands-on approach, which differs significantly from traditional project management roles, leads to faster and more efficient working methods and product development.

What you bring

A university degree in engineering, such as electronics, mechanics, systems engineering or equivalent technical education.
Several years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in leading development projects and actively contributing to the team's success.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability not only to guide teams but also to participate actively in daily tasks to ensure project success.
Broad technical interest, with experience in product development and project management processes, where a background in electronics or mechanics is particularly advantageous.
A structured and process-oriented approach, ensuring systematic and organized work in all projects.
A driven and energetic approach, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to balance technical and business needs, with a focus on combining creativity and efficiency to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Proficiency in both Swedish and English is necessary for this role.
