This position will be focused primarily on developing business applications and secondarily on enhancing our internal application development platforms. As part of our global applications development team, you will have the opportunity to work with a combination of high-code frameworks and modern low-code/no-code (LCNC), AI enabled platforms to develop innovative solutions which address business challenges, automate business processes, or better support business capabilities. DevOps and ALM are also considered part of our development platforms, of which you will play a key role in helping to enhance and integrate. As part of our effort to empower business with application development platforms, you will also guide IT and business users in creating their own business applications within our LCNC platform.*Responsibilities*•Work with users from both business and IT to perform business analysis to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into proper solution design.
  • Database design using proper normalization and principles for given platform.
  • Design and code applications utilizing both high and LCNC development platforms.
  • Debug and troubleshoot applications and application code.
  • Design UIs that are user-friendly and meet all requirements.
  • Design environment, solution, governance, and promotional strategies for low-code and DevOps platforms.
  • Work with end users to help them create applications within our low-code platform.
  • Work with and design DevOps pipelines, repositories, and CI/CD processes.
  • Use and help design DevOps processes for ALM and software release management.
  • Provide high-level support and maintenance for applications and application development platforms.
  • Collaborate with members of the department frequently to enhance processes, applications, development, and user training and support. *
About you*•Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, information technology, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing applications with the .NET framework or within Microsoft Power Platform.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, or an object-oriented programming language.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with and writing queries against a RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
  • Experience programming in ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a major plus.
  • Experience developing solutions in Microsoft Power Platforms is a major plus.
  • Experience automating workflows or creating low-code automated solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with AI tools to aid in application development is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methods (such as Scrum) and Waterfall development.
  • Basic understanding of Azure DevOps, ALM processes, and CI/CD.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
