The QA Specialist assures compliance with regulatory requirements, certification standards and internal company procedures for products manufactured in our production process for oils and fats.The work as a QA specialist will be focused on driving continuous improvements of site quality systems as well as being involved in QA tasks within the food area. Supporting in creating a positive food safety culture. The position is full-time, and you will be based in Karlshamn, Sweden.Main responsibilities:

Support implementation of procedures to ensure compliance to food safety and quality standards e.g. FSSC22000, ISO9001.
Develop and optimize the quality management systems
Support risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives within food safety
Develop and maintain system for pre-requisite program
Conduct internal inspections and supplier audits
Participate in customer audits and inspections from authorities and notified bodies
Perform internal trainings
Initiate activities to encourage quality and food safety culture

Who are you?To be successful in this role you have a university degree in food science, food engineering or other relevant education and you have at least 3 years of experience from a similar position within the food business. You have solid knowledge about quality management systems, food legislation and certification standards.We value good cooperation skills, that you are driven in your way of working and can perform and prioritize your work based on set goals. We expect you to have the right skills to perform tasks accurately without continuous supervision but seeking input from others as needed. Furthermore, you have to have strong project management skills and you enjoy working both individually and within a team.You need to have the ability to communicate with authorities, customers and people on different levels within the organization.
