Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Division CFO Marine & PortsYour role and responsibilitiesAs the Local Division Controller, you’ll be a key member of the local leadership team, partnering directly with the Local Division Manager. You’ll drive financial performance, guide strategic decisions, and lead a team of professionals in a dynamic, international environment. You will be supporting effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating various business alternatives and recommending the most appropriate business solutions.We offer a challenging position in an international and dynamic working environment with interesting duties that cover multiple dimensions of financial management in a customer-oriented Marine & Ports business.Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable marine and port operations? Join our global team and take the lead in financial strategy for our Marine & Ports Division in Sweden, in a role that combines global impact with local leadership.In this role, you will take ownership of the financial management of the Local Division, including project reviews and execution.You will lead monthly closings, forecasting, and planning, with a strong focus on both detail and the bigger picture. Cost structure, cash flow including hedging, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency will be central parts of your responsibility.You will ensure strong governance through robust internal controls and compliance with ABB’s governance model. This includes supporting the setup of new permanent establishments and safeguarding compliance across both new and existing operations.You will also monitor business performance, assess business risk exposure, and provide insights and analysis that support operational decision-making.By engaging actively with internal networks and stakeholders, you will take a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to financial reporting and process improvement.Qualifications for the role
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Several years’ experience of Business Controlling roles, preferably in a global and project-driven context.
  • Proven leadership experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of processes and tools in Finance with strong business acumen.
  • Prior experience in using SAP.
  • Known for your collaboration, communication, and business partnering skills.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, any other language is an asset.
