Job DescriptionWe are looking for a experienced Site Purchasing Specialist (MRO) to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellente Site Purchasing team based in Skelleftea. By joining us, you will be a key player in driving our purchasing activities focusing on Maintenance, Repair and Operation and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.About the jobBe a pivotal part of our passionate supply chain team at Northvolt ETT, Skellefteå, driving the coordination of purchasing activities focusing on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. Reporting to the Senior Manager Site Purchasing, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our ambitious goals.About the teamYou will be working within the Site Purchasing Team which currently is 11 people strong. This team is responsible for Equipment, Indirect as well as Maintenance, Repair and Operations purchasing. In your new role you would take over the responsibility to purchase mainly spare parts, services as well as consumables. In this role you are working close with our Global Purchasing Team as well as our Maintenance and Warehouse team.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and nurture a competitive and dependable network of local and global partners to procure goods and services, and implement framework agreements.
Collaborate closely with the maintenance and operations team to anticipate future requirements for goods and services.
Lead or participate in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, including conducting explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents in coordination with stakeholders.
Work in tandem with the maintenance and central purchasing teams to define scopes and negotiate service level agreements with primary subcontractors.
Provide support to the Maintenance team proactively to prevent production line stoppages.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, sourcing & logistics, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in a production and manufacturing environment. Ideally this experience includes several year in purchasing spare parts and/or services.
Excellent English written and oral skills
Strong negotiation skills
Effective team player with the ability to influence team members and stakeholders.
Proactive problem-solving skills with adaptability to varying situations

Bonus points for:

Fluency in other languages (Swedish, Chinese, Korean)
Experience from a multi-cultural environment
