As part of our ambitious, innovative and curious team, you'll help shape the future of investing in Sweden and beyond.The RoleAs a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with security skills in our Backend team, you will be part of our tech team based in Stockholm or Halmstad. You will be instrumental in building and developing the next generation investment platform, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and security operations (DevSecOps).You will report directly to our VP of Engineering and your work will be supported by our Tech Team Lead. Our robust tech stack, crucial for our cloud infrastructure, consists of Terraform, Kotlin, Python, SQL, and PHP(Laravel), and is hosted on AWS. We emphasize DevSecOps principles throughout our development lifecycle.Your MissionAdvance and optimize our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.Enhance and implement our security practices, integrating DevSecOps principles to secure feature development.Build and deploy robust software features within a fast-paced, agile environment.Drive and develop innovative technical concepts and solutions from inception to implementation.Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our tech stack, architectural designs, and operational methodologies.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to build high-quality products, adhering to best engineering practices.Develop and maintain secure integrations with third-party APIs.Foster our learning culture by actively participating in feedback sessions, both receiving and providing constructive feedback on code.
You'll Thrive in This Role If You...Are a motivated engineer with a passion for cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, and a security-first mindset within the backend space.Have 4+ years of team-based experience building and operating scalable, product-grade systems.Have strong in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), with experience in CI/CD, containerization (ECS/EKS/Docker), networking, and observability (metrics, logging, tracing).Are skilled at improving performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through automation, autoscaling, and incident response practices.Integrate security into infrastructure by applying least-privilege IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, secure CI/CD pipelines, and well-monitored API integrations.Are able to collaborate closely with backend teams and contribute directly to codebases (Kotlin, Python, PHP/Laravel, SQL) when needed.Are a team player who values feedback, communicates fluently in English, and balances speed with long-term maintainability.Eligibility: Swedish citizen or valid EU work permit (visa sponsorship not available).If your experience doesn't align perfectly with every bullet point, but you possess strong skills in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or security, and you have a genuine growth mindset, we still encourage you to apply.
