Role SummaryWe are seeking a FEM Simulation Engineer who is positive, committed, eager to learn, and passionate about durability. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of projects in a cross-functional and international team environment.At TRATON, we foster a strong culture of continuous improvement - constantly enhancing our modelling methods, analysis techniques, and work processes to stay at the forefront of the industry. Automating repetitive tasks is key to increasing both efficiency and capability.This position is part of the TRATON Group R&D organization and is based in Södertälje, Sweden. Job ResponsibilitiesAs a FEM Simulation Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

Performing structural simulations during concept development, involving multiple iterations to identify robust conceptual solutions in close collaboration with the design team.
Conducting simulations during the product implementation phase to verify and validate design performance.
Supporting product follow-up by investigating failures observed in customer operations, often in cooperation with physical testing teams.
Continuously improving simulation models, ranging from minor refinements to major enhancements. Who You Are

You hold a Master's degree (or higher) in Solid Mechanics or a related field.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience with software such as Hypermesh, Abaqus, Femfat, and Matlab, as well as programming skills, is considered a merit.
