The Territory Manager is ultimately responsible for all customer related activities in the field. This includes leading and coaching a country specific team of three Customer Engagement Managers. In the role you will be reporting to the Nordic Sales Manager.Some of the key responsibilities include:
Being accountable for delivering on sales targets set by the Nordic Sales Manager and responsible for country-wise territory planning and management. Together with your Customer Engagement Managers you will be setting individual targets by district and customer enabling you to achieve the sales and growth objectives.
You will be responsible for your own share of customers from the Northern part of Stockholm and upwards, while most of your time will be spent with your team in the field. You will lead, coach and motivate your team to achieve their individual and team targets, ensuring that they cover their territories effectively and monitor sales and engagement performance on a monthly basis.
As we are implementing Field Force Effectiveness programs and new Customer Engagement tools, you are responsible for deployment in the field by coaching and supporting your team ensuring adoption of new ways of working, instilling a performance mindset with the aim of improving our Customer Engagement metrics.When engaging with our customers it will include both product-specific communication i.e., introducing new products/new indications and commercial collaboration on how to e.g., increase customer share, loyalty and clinic turnover for the mutual benefit of us and our customers. Together with your Customer Engagement Managers you will uncover new opportunities based on customer needs and insights with the ambition of becoming their trusted business partner.Your profile:
- We are looking for a candidate who can ideally tick below boxes:
- Min. Bachelor's degree in veterinary, animal health-related or science-based field
- Min. 5 years’ experience in sales management, including experience in managing field sales representatives. Veterinary/Medical knowledge will be a significant advantage
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Coaching certification is a huge plus
- Strong commercial mindset, high level of business acumen and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal. In addition to Swedish, mastery of English is a must
- Personal drive and sense of urgency
