Sobi is in an exciting growth phase, offering you the opportunity to influence and shape the role of Sourcing Manager.Job DescriptionThis is a great opportunity for you who only have a few years experience or have had a couple of internships during your studies and want to continue to grow withing indirect Sourcing. We also welcome candidates with longer experience!As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with your colleagues through the procurement process. You will drive procurement cases to ensure cost-conscious behavior and added value for Sobi. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will be responsible for handling purchasing requests, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders globally.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming purchasing requests for all indirect categories
  • Prioritize daily work for efficient purchases
  • Prepare and conduct supplier negotiations according to best-practices
  • Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and drive implementation along the Procurement lifecycle and contributing to learning and development within the team as well as the wider organization
QualificationsTo excel in this position you should be analytical, structured, driven, proactive and have the ability to work independently delivering to deadlines. You are a team player with focus on relationship-building and are results-oriented and communicative.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in finance or purchasing with negotiation expertise
  • Ability to work with cross-border stakeholders and present data effectively
  • Structured, proactive, and results-oriented with strong communication skills
