- Responsible for the commercial financial modelling and analysis for the Swedish head office and for the Swedish stores.
- Be a valued business partner for the Swedish leadership group providing analytical insights derived from trading KPIs and other data sources, internal as well as external.
- Provide detailed analysis and insights on monthly reporting as well as ad hoc reporting - for head office and for stores, understanding the underlying drivers of performance. Commenting on variances and explaining drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Drive the yearly budget process, rolling forecasts, and regularly identify risks and opportunities for the head office and stores in line with requirements from the region and group.
- Help develop and maintain financial models and create business cases to support key decisions including pricing strategies, investments, and identifying actionable opportunities and insights as well as highlighting risks.
- Undertake campaign modelling and perform post reviews to learn, improve and adapt into future planning.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the commercial function in close collaboration with the Head of Finance and help implement new procedures and systems as required for the Swedish business and in line with Regional/Group solutions.
- Help driving the BI agenda for the finance function to ensure continued delivery of insights based on data and facts.
- Be a motivating and engaging leader and manager of the team of 5 experienced Controllers and ensure direct reports are qualified & efficient, as well as to provide a supporting environment for them to develop in their roles.
- Continue to build knowledge and best practice in the function, also by applying BI tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build cross-functional relationships, becoming a trusted advisor in analytical and commercial topics/matters.
- 6-10 years of experience in controlling and reporting, preferably from a large corporation.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing people, preferably with teams of size 5-10.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels, including those that are non-finance.
- Master's degree in finance, economy, or the like.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI user skills or desire to pick these up.
- Previous experience in a retail environment and/or franchise environment.
- Broad knowledge of the competitive retail landscape.
