- Define end-to-end solutions, encompassing industry and business approaches, implementation methods, technology usage, and influence commercial and financial models. * Stakeholder Management:- Understand stakeholders, their drivers, challenges, their goals and expectations, and effectively communicate the right messages to them. You will spend a large portion of your time with your customers, partners and key stakeholders. * Financial Acumen:- Calculate Total Cost of Ownership scenarios for customers, explaining how they align with their challenges and Pure's benefits. * Leadership and Collaboration:- Lead large IT projects, establish yourself as a thought leader and trusted advisor, collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams. * Collateral Production:- Create client collateral, including presentations, papers, demonstrations, proofs of concepts, and contribute to joint offerings with other Pure teams. * Sales Guidance:- Guide the sales team in delivering optimal technology solutions in a competitive environment. * Technical Leadership:- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for the SE organization, engage in field marketing events. * Market Insight:- Identify key trends, map customer challenges with Pure Storage's technology strategy, predict long-term competitive trends. * Cultural Maintenance:- Help maintain the company's technical culture, retain and attract top technical talent.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE... * Technical Expertise:- Strong technical prowess across storage, compute, database, networking, virtualization, and emerging technologies. A strong infrastructure background with a considerable knowledge in data management and storage technologies. * Versatility:- Technical understanding in data science, modern IT architecture modelling, Agile application development, DevOps, automation principles, infrastructure operations, project management, and IT security. * Strategic Thinking:- Combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving. * Communication Skills:- Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Be able to build that trusted relationship with your customers. * Industry Knowledge:- Understand commercial and disruptive technology trends in the client's market and interpret their implications for target solutions. This will include a deep appreciation and understanding of technical operations in large enterprise customers (with an extra level of focus and experience in Global Automotive and Manufacturing customers) You will know your competitors, their strengths and weaknesses and how to articulate Pure's differentiators and advantages to your customers for the right use cases. * Learning Orientation:- Embrace lifelong learning, with approximately 10% of time dedicated to training and participation in industry conferences.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:
