In this role, you will support our Swedish projects in the Nordic cluster and focus on the HSE tasks in the HSE department and throughout the project’s life cycle. You will be ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance are documented, monitored and maintained. You will also be driving continuous improvement in all areas of HSE. In this role you will have the possibility to work onsite (especially during onboarding time) as well as from the office.How you’ll make an impactImplement and work with continuous improvement of Hitachi Energy operating unit management system and local requirements in Sweden for the operating unit of the Nordic clusterReview customer HSE requirements and demonstrate how Hitachi Energy will manage HSE through the lifecycle of the project.Prepare and update HSE documentation in accordance with the internal process. Submit all preliminary HSE plans to the customer in accordance with the tender submission dates.Attend clarification meetings and workshops with the customer (both in person and remotely).Prepare the Project HSE Plan as well as other HSE-related documentation such as the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.Ensure activities under the scope of Hitachi Energy are in compliance with legal and contractual HSE requirements as well as internal HSE requirements.Produce reports for Project Reviews, both internal and Customer, and attend the Project Review meetings to ensure the Hitachi Energy HSE Operating System remains suitable, adequate, and effective.Review HSE documentation from all Hitachi Energy subcontractors and support subcontractors to meet internal and Project HSE requirements.Maintain awareness of developments and legislation that impact assigned functions.Your backgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or equivalentPrevious experience of HSE tasks in projectsEducated and proven knowledge in Bas U and Bas PExperience drafting HSE technical documentationProfessional HSE certification is seen as a plusKnowledgeable of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certificationsStrong organizational and communication skills with the ability to operate within global teamsSelf-driven and persistent attitude towards challenges.
